Boatyard
Our Boatyard is serviced by a 45-tonne capacity Marine Travelift able to lift boats of up to 6.1 metre beam and 20 metres in length. You can see the approaches to and operation of the Travelift above.
The approach channel and Travelift basin has a low water depth of 2.2 metres. Vessels of up to 3.1 metre draft can be lifted at high tide.
A powerful 3 phase pressure washer is available for hire with 45 minutes available after the boat has been lifted to wash down. If the boat is particularly dirty with mussels etc you will need to arrange for the debris to be taken away.
Boats on the hardstand are supported in a cradle backed up by adjustable boat stands.
Our operators have completed the Marina Industry Association’s Straddle Carrier Operations course.
Boat owners are able to undertake work on their boat and can liveaboard while in the boatyard if required.
We currently have space for 20 vessels. There are two 20 metre long by 10 metre high spray sheds and a 15 metre long by 6.5 metre high maintenance shed.
An innovative keel-pit is available to allow ground level painting and polishing of your topsides.
Lifting fees and hardstand daily rate are based on the length of the boat.
All boat maintenance/repair services are available onsite or nearby.
Please read the Boatyard Terms & Conditions here prior to making your booking

The Fairway to access the Boatyard is situated on the southern side of Little Oyster Cove between the moorings and the Bruny Island Ferry Terminal.
Please observe the 4 knot speed limit within the Fairway.
After passing the Ferry Terminal proceed towards the end of the Fairway and turn to starboard when you reach the outer attenuator wall of the Marina.
Proceed to the far northern end of the attenuator and then turn to port between the marina and the Fuel Wharf.
If the Travelift is not ready for you please tie-up to the fuel wharf until called.
When entering the Travelift Bay please ensure that there are no obstructions (eg fenders, ropes etc) on the outside of the boat.
A member of the marina staff will catch the boat as you approach the Travelift.
Please follow all instructions provided by the Travelift Operator.
You will be required to exit the boat prior to the lift as guided by the Bosun.
